Beausoleil Boudoir was created in 2016 after I worked with a boudoir company for over 6 years and they moved away. I LOVE boudoir - it's my passion project and my creative outlet. How I didn't find my way to boudoir sooner - I'm not quite sure. Having a background in fine art with a focus on the female form and photography you would have thought I'd have gotten here sooner.
As of 2018 I not only work behind the scenes creating albums and working directly with our clients - I am also one of your lead photographers.

I never considered working in the boudoir industry on account of my extreme bashfulness, but Tina asked me to try it anyway. As luck would have it I turned out to be pretty good at it. My vast experience and studies in other forms of portraiture taught me how to pose flatteringly, how to adapt to any shoot, and how to use lighting in the most creative and moody ways possible. I was able to take a look I had sculpted for Fashion, Beauty and Musicians and apply it in a way that I found to be sensual and sexy. Once I realized the kind of looks I had created I never looked back.

I opened my first boudoir studio in 2010 (Breathless Boudoir in Baton Rouge). A fully curated and styled session, with images that matched the personality and desire of the women we photographed. It was a game changing model for how to run a boudoir business as boudoir regained popularity across the country.
I developed a signature style with my work and learned how to coach and bring out the best, most beautiful, and sensuous in those I've photographed. Shooting everything from glamourous and beautiful, through tastefully erotic, depending on the clients desires, it's my goal to show YOU what's within yourself. To bring out that sexy, edgy part of you that demands to be seen.
After moving back to New Orleans, I reached out to Tina and here we are!

Tina here to give you a little insight into your Beausoleil Boudoir Experience.
During your session you’ll be working with our team - your hair and makeup artist will begin with your styling and your photographers will be David & I. We offer the best of both worlds - the male and female perspective. Over the last 4 years we have developed a flow between the 2 of us that gives you the best possible boudoir experience. I have been working on sets styling for over 10 years, paying attention to small details with my clients, so during your session I will be guiding you from fingers to toes on how to pose in the most flattering way. David will be focused on positioning you in the most lush lighting to accentuate all of your best features and conceal the ones you’d like to forget about. Together we’ll be pose you to perfection, in the most flattering of light while capturing your best expressions and angles.
For most of your experience with Beausoleil Boudoir I'll be your go to lady - I'll be helping you with any questions you have, wardrobe selection and during your session styling and posing help.

Seriously! We've got you! You can call or email us at anytime for advice and tips on what to wear. If you have lots of ideas and outfits and you’re having trouble narrowing them down, then we always recommend you bring more to your session than you think you might need. When you arrive for your shoot, I'll help you narrow them down based on the information in your questionnaire, and your reaction to the pieces as we go through them. I suggest creating a pinterest page of wardrobe and share it with us!

Bold color choices paired with the perfect lip color make quite the statement. If you have color that you LOVE why not incorporate it into your lingerie and accessories for a pop of fun color?

If you have a piece that you feel would photograph well but your just not sure how to wear it - bring it! Fun costumes, skirts, feathered wraps are just a few of the things we have photographed - have something interesting? Bring it!

We are EXPERTS at Posing.
We have posed hundreds of women.
Our team has the training and experience to help your through posing and creating the most flattering light possible. Though out the session we'll coach you through a pose and asking you to make simple adjustments to create flattering lines and angles.
Not only have we posed hundreds of women, of every shape and size, I have been photographed at EVERY weight and shape through out the last 6 years. Having been photographed so many times, specifically in a boudoir setting, I understand how you feel in a pose and what looks best.
Part of what I bring to the Beausoleil Boudoir Experience is the knowledge of how the female body shape looks best and what it feels like to be vulnerable in front of the camera.
When I say "I know how you feel - it may feel awkward but it looks great!" - know that I really do know how it feels to be in that position and I will most likely get on the floor and demo the pose for you!
(....and for an extra funny bonus - MANY of the poses that we shoot, I will demo... but so will David! Some of the best laugh photos we get from our clients are when David is demo-ing a pose and I'm shooting!)
Do you have a pinterest board that you've put together for inspiration? We use this board to get a sense of the kind of poses you like. While we don't copy other artists work, this helps us get an idea of what you might be interested in.
Retouching:
Our retouching style is very natural and subtle. Our goal is to achieve a great image of you in camera with lighting and posing but sometimes even professional models need a little help. With retouching we remove the distractions, it can be things like flyaway hairs, environmental eyesores (like wall outlets or marks on furniture and bedding) and of course, skin imperfections. If it's something that is temporary, like a blemish or bruise, we will remove it but if it something that is a part of you, we want you to look like the best version of yourself, not someone else. After your session, we'll meet up in our studio to review your images and select your products. Every image you select to purchase is tastefully retouched for the very best results.

When will you get your final products?
Once your order is paid in full your order will be placed that night. We also offer no interest payment plans - if you choose this option your order will be placed at the completion of your plan. Once your order is placed you'll have delivery of your order with 4-6 weeks.
Your Investment
About your timeline & investment
To reserve your date, first pay your retainer fee and schedule your shoot. We book 2-6 months in advance, so plan ahead. If you are just finding us and need your shoot asap, drop us an email. We try our best to fit everyone in and you may be in lucky!
On the day of your shoot, you will start in hair and makeup. This will take about an hour. while you are in hair and makeup, we will go through your wardrobe and plan out your shoot.
After you are done in hair and makeup, we start to shoot. We shoot for an two hours and at the end of your shoot, we will pick a date for your ordering appointment. This will be 1-2 weeks later. That is when you will see your gorgeous images and make your purchasing decisions.
Albums and wall art will be delivered within 4-6 weeks.
If you pay in full the night of your reveal session your order will be placed that night. If you choose this option, your images will be delivered after your plan is paid in full. If you purchase wall art or albums, you will receive your final order in 4-6 weeks or less.
Albums start at $1799 - this is for a 8x8 album with 20 images and the investment goes up from there - some clients spend $1599, while most spend between $1800 - $2450 and a few spend several thousand. What a client ends up investing depends on many things including, how many images you want, what type of album you want, if you want wall art or digital files. Every client is different.

FAQ's
IS BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY FOR ME?
Feeling nervous is completely normal! The fun part of the Beausoleil Boudoir experience is that it really is for the everyday woman! We believe confidence is the number one key to getting what you want out of life. A woman plus confidence, watch out! Whether your shoot is for that special someone or simply for your eyes only; you will never regret the end result! We have so much fun with you during the day of the shoot and once you see your amazing pictures, you'll be so happy you did this!
IS MY PHOTOGRAPHER A WOMAN OR A MAN?
You have a choice with the Beausoleil Boudoir! Everyone has their own unique style, as do our photographers. We urge you to choose your photographer based on their style and photography type since Tina, David and Max have a knack for putting clients at ease and a talent for boudoir. During your session, Tina will be your photographer and you can choose to work with or without the boys, just let us know what your preference is.
WILL MY PHOTOS BE ON THE INTERNET?
Not unless you say it’s ok! Every client featured on this website and blog has given explicit permission to post her images. If you aren’t comfortable with any images being shared, we completely understand! Read our complete policy about client privacy here: Our Privacy Promise
I HAVE SOME IMPERFECTIONS. CAN YOU GET RID OF THEM?
In most cases, yes. Removal of small blemishes and skin softening is all part of the retouching process. Please note: We do not do extensive body reshaping as part of retouching. We want you to look as natural as possible. If there is something you feel self-conscious about, we can use poses and lighting to emphasize your best features.
WHAT IF I LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE GIRLS ON YOUR WEBSITE? I’M OLDER THAN, NOT AS THIN AS, MY SKIN DOESN'T LOOK FLAWLESS LIKE THE WOMEN ON YOUR WEBSITE, CAN I STILL BOOK A SESSION?
Waking up and rolling out of bed looking fabulous said no one ever! All of the girls on the website are everyday women just like you. With the use of hair, makeup, lighting, posing and sexy outfits; we've got you covered!
And remember not everyone is comfortable with their photos being online. We photograph many women over 50 and well into the plus sizes. What we promise is that we will create images to flatter YOU. We want to your personality to show.
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE!?
We never expect you to pose yourself. We will be guiding you on poses to accentuate your best features. We will be instructing you on where to look, where to put your hands/feet; the whole thing! Tina has YEARS of boudoir experience both behind the scenes and in front of the camera - she will be at your session to help pose you and guide you through the process and make sure you look your best!
DO I BRING MY OWN LINGERIE, OR DO YOU PROVIDE THE OUTFITS?
You need to bring your own lingerie to the photo shoot. Select outfits that suit your personality and body shape, and complement your skin tone. Not sure where to start with that? We have friends in sexy places to help you - our wardrobe stylists can help with outfit ideas, or if you’d like to book a consultation to discuss wardrobe, send me an email!
WHAT ABOUT HAIR AND MAKEUP, DO I DO IT MYSELF?
Hair and makeup is included in every All Inclusive Package we offer. Our stylists have been hand-picked for their talents and professionalism. We want to provide an experience that makes you feel beautiful and pampered.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO MY SHOOT?
We love to keep the focus on you so we recommend that you set aside your boudoir time as "me time". If you feel more comfortable with a friend coming along, you are more than welcome to bring them. But, please limit guest to 1 per shoot and we will ask them to enjoy our lobby while we shoot. (There are plenty of bars, museums and entertainment around if your guest wants to check out our space before we shoot and needs something to do while we make you glamorous!)
WHERE DO THE SHOOTS TAKE PLACE?
In New Orleans at our studio, a luxury hotel/airbnb OR on location for a destination shoot! We have created the ultimate pampering boudoir location for our clients in our adorable New Orleans cottage. We are also available for travel to your hotel in New Orleans and surrounding cities, shoots are done (by appointment only) in luxe hotels, architecturally distinct historic buildings, beautifully restored Victorian mansions and other hand-selected locations. Location will be chosen based on consultation and confirmed and sent to you prior to your shoot. We do offer in-home sessions at private residences as well. Just let us know beforehand!
I’M READY TO BOOK A SHOOT, WHAT’S NEXT?
Once you let me know what date you’d like to shoot we will send you a booking proposal and contract. The contract must be signed and a non-refundable retainer is due to reserve your shoot day/time. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your shoot. But, as always I also offer payment plans if you need a bit of flexibility in order to purchase the package you really want.
I’M NOT SURE WHAT Á LA CARTE ITEMS I WANT TO ORDER YET, CAN I DECIDE WHEN I SEE MY PHOTOS?
Absolutely! After the shoot we will have a personal viewing session to view your images and discuss product options where we will choose your best images together and pick the perfect product for them. Once you decide on what you’d like to order (additional albums, individual prints, canvases, paintings etc), 50% of the total is due to begin work on the design and the remaining balance is due when you pick up your order. We do not release product orders without full payment.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Due to the custom nature of photography, the session price and any products ordered are non-refundable. You have final say on the retouching and any custom album design and nothing goes to print without your approval.
